FIVE FOLDING TYPES FOR YOUR PLAN PRINTS
When folding your technical drawings, you can choose from the following folding types:
- Folding with filing edge according to DIN 824-A (cover sheet width 190 mm + 20 mm filing edge)
- Folding with filing strip according to DIN 824-B (cover sheet width 195 mm + 15 mm filing strip)
- Package folding 210 according to DIN 824-C (cover sheet width 210 mm = DIN A4)
- Package folding 190 (cover sheet width 190 mm)
- Package folding with title block at the top (cover sheet width 210 mm = DIN A4)
Alternatively, you can order your plans rolled, that is, without folding.
CAD PLAN PRINTS WITH PROTECTIVE LAMINATION
All classic and premium plan prints can be laminated with a clear PE film upon request.
This means your drawing or plan is completely sealed (thickness of front and back 125 µ each) and absolutely waterproof due to an additional protective edge. The film is completely transparent and has a matte surface to avoid any reflections.
Particularly suitable, for example, for escape and rescue plans or riser diagrams in buildings or for weatherproof posting on construction sites. We can laminate any printed format, including extra lengths. Due to their sturdy thickness, the laminates are not foldable and are delivered exclusively rolled. Please note that the processing time is extended by one working day due to the additional step.

PLAN PRINTS - COLOUR
REPRO ONLINE prints your large-format construction plans and CAD drawings using high-speed color printing systems of the latest generation. Pigmented inks ensure a more durable, lightfast print image. PDF files of technical drawings in DIN and large formats up to a print format of the short side of the plan of 105 cm are processed. For further processing, you have the choice between the following options: DIN folding with edge binding, DIN folding with hole reinforcement (binding strip), package folding (to the format 210x297mm), and "Rolled". An automated production line ensures the reliable and timely processing of large order volumes. Large-format photo prints and posters cannot be processed as a coloured plan print. Please choose the article poster print or fine art print depending on your needs.
PLAN PRINTS - BLACK & WHITE
REPRO ONLINE prints your CAD plans and construction drawings using pigmented inks in black and white, as well as an additional spectrum of 256 shades of gray. The result is an especially sharp print image even with the finest lines and smooth transitions in the areas, especially when outputting colored templates as grayscale prints. Printable PDF print files are available in a maximum format of 105 cm (short side). For folding, you can choose between: folding with a margin, folding with hole reinforcement (staple strip), package folding (to the format 210x297mm), each in the final format DIN A4 or "Rolled". Text documents, graphics, and posters can not be processed as b/w plan prints. Please select the poster printing article for this. PREMIUM PLAN PRINTS
Have CAD plans printed in premium quality: the print of the premium plan print is controlled by a special color management, which is particularly noticeable in drawings with colored areas, e.g. in the reproduction of pastel tones and tonal gradations. For this purpose, we additionally use a specially coated paper that is coated with a binder, which causes the substrate to absorb less color and therefore does not swell. The result offers a noticeably smoother feel and is the first choice when plans and drawings are intended to convey a certain value. Your options for further processing are also folding with a margin, folding with hole reinforcement (staple strip), and package folding, all in DIN A4 format as well as "Rolled". The maximum print format of the short side of the plan is 84.1 cm.
GRAPHIC PLAN PRINTS
If you want to use your plans for presentations and competitions, if your templates are full-screen or include bold color areas (e.g. for the representation of mixed graphics including photographs or rendered illustrations), we offer you professional 4-color printing on stable 120g poster paper with the graphic plan print. By using a gel toner called Crystal-Point technology, sharp, waterproof black and white or color prints are created with a fine shimmering silk finish that are visually impressive and yet can be produced particularly cost-effectively. The paper used has been produced in an environmentally friendly manner and is FSC certified. The maximum print format (short side) for graphic plan prints is 105 cm. These prints are not foldable and are thus alwalys delivered rolled.
MEGAPLOTS
If you want to print particularly large technical drawings with a height (short side) of over 1051 mm, please order our "Megaplot" for this purpose. As a Megaplot, your plans can be printed up to a maximum format of the short side of 1520 mm (!). Due to the use of pigmented inks, the CAD prints are UV-stable in the long term. Since these oversized CAD plan prints are produced in a separate printing process and require additional manual work steps, the processing time of an order containing Megaplot positions is extended by up to 2 working days.
TRANSPARENT PLAN PRINTS
We print on classic, robust transparent paper (95 g/m²) in color or grayscale directly from a PDF file. Construction drawings, engineering or circuit diagrams, drafts, and sketches can then be edited as usual with ink pens and razor blades. The material and printing process offer the highest possible dimensional stability for a particularly precise and to-scale representation. In addition to the DIN A0 format, transparent paper offers a maximum print format of 90.4 cm (short side). Please note that transparent plan print are primarily designed for reproducing line drawings - larger areas of color, etc. often lead to ink drying problems and cannot be processed by us. All transparent plan prints are shipped rolled up exclusively.
